二、收聽英語廣播

中國國際廣播電臺(China Radio International)每天早上7：00——8：00，中午11：00——12：00各有一小時(shí)的英語節(jié)目。內(nèi)容包括國內(nèi)外新聞剪報(bào)集錦和各類系列的專題報(bào)道。除了英語標(biāo)準(zhǔn)流利的國內(nèi)播音員擔(dān)任廣播之外，也有向外僑或訪客就某一話題而做的錄音訪問。內(nèi)容廣泛，但詞匯較簡單，語速亦適中，可以藉此訓(xùn)練或增進(jìn)英語的聽力。

三、聽正常語速的英語，才能加速聽力的進(jìn)步

很多廣播教學(xué)和聽力教材總是為了配合聽眾或?qū)W習(xí)者的程度而故意放慢語速，這雖是無可厚非的變通方法，但也會產(chǎn)生一些不良的副作用。例如：1.聽?wèi)T了語速放慢的英語，在與外國人的實(shí)際交往中，就很難適應(yīng)，甚至聽不懂他們用正常語速講的英語。2. 故意放慢語速時(shí)，通常會把一句中每個詞都清楚的讀出來，但在正常的會話中會出現(xiàn)很多同化assimilation)，減弱(reduction)，連音(liaision)的現(xiàn)象。所以，聽語速正常的英語對于聽力和會話極為重要。

四、訓(xùn)練朗讀，好處多多

英語學(xué)習(xí)者往往對朗讀不太重視。事實(shí)上朗讀的妙用大矣!1.鍛煉英語的發(fā)音，語調(diào)與節(jié)奏;2.使口腔各發(fā)音部位靈活，增進(jìn)說英語時(shí)的流利程度;3.使耳朵增加聽英語的機(jī)會，從而提高英語聽力;4.充分應(yīng)用讀書四到：眼到，口到，耳到，心到——比默讀時(shí)更能記住所讀的教材。我們也可以說朗讀是會話的基本訓(xùn)練，沒有朗讀習(xí)慣的人是很難學(xué)成會話的。

五、為了興趣而閱讀

寒窗苦讀式的學(xué)習(xí)方法不但枯燥無味，而且效果往往不佳。如果是為了興趣甚至“消遣”而閱讀的話，一定會趣味盎然，并能在無形之中進(jìn)。例如：喜歡爵士樂的人讀起爵士樂方面的英文書刊會比看英文教科書效率高的多。同樣的，喜歡汽車的人看介紹汽車的英文書刊，喜歡烹飪的人看介紹汽車的英文書刊，不僅能滿足自己的愛好，而且又可以提高英語能力，真是一舉兩得。

假如沒有特別的興趣，那不妨閱讀故事，小說尤其是偵探小說更能使人全神貫注，而且有一氣呵成之感。這可算是一種愉快的學(xué)習(xí)方法。
