1. The friendly exchanges between the Chinese and American peoples date back more than two hundred years.
中美兩國人民的友好交往，已有二百多年歷史。
2. There are fifty-six peoples in China.
中國有五十六個民族。
Person
a human as an individual 人(強調(diào)個人)
1. You’re just the person I want to see.
你正是我想要見的人。
2. What is she like as a person?
她的人品怎么樣?
3. A selfish person always thinks about himself.
一個自私的人總是想著自己。
【注意】
1. people表示”人們”時，為集體名詞，不能表示個人。people表示”民族”時，為可數(shù)名詞，有單復(fù)數(shù)形式。
2. person是可數(shù)名詞，強調(diào)個人，其復(fù)數(shù)形式為persons，不過人們習(xí)慣用people代替persons。
