　　閱讀下面短文，根據(jù)所給情節(jié)進行續(xù)寫，使之構(gòu)成一個完整的故事。

　　It was summer, and my dad wanted to treat me to a vacation like never before. He decided to take me on a trip to the Wild West.

　　We took a plane to Albuquerque, a big city in the state of New Mexico. We reached Albuquerque in the late afternoon.Uncle Paul, my dad’s friend, picked us up from the airport and drove us up to his farm in Pecos.

　　His wife Tina cooked us a delicious dinner and we got to know his sons Ryan and Kyle. My dad and I spent the night in the guestroom of the farm house listening to the frogs and water rolling down theriver nearby. Very early in the morning, Uncle Paul woke us up to have breakfast. “The day starts at dawn on my farm,” he said. After breakfast, I went to help Aunt Tinafeed the chickens, while my dad went with Uncle Paul to take thesheep out to graze (吃草). I was impressed to see my dad and Uncle Paul riding horses. They looked really cool.

　　In the afternoon, I asked Uncle Paul if I could take a horse ride, and he said yes, as long as my dad went with me. I wasn’t going to take a horse ride by myself anyway. So, my dad and I put on our new cowboy hats, got on our horses, and headed slowly towards the mountains. “Don’t be late for supper,” Uncle Paul cried, “and keep to the track so that you don’t get lost!” “OK!” my dad cried back. After a while Uncle Paul and his farm house were out of sight. It was so peaceful and quiet and the colors of the brown rocks, the deep green pine trees, and the late afternoon sun mixed to create a magic scene. It looked like a beautiful woven (編織的) blanket spread out upon the ground just for us.

　　和以往的高考英語命題作文不同，讀后續(xù)寫要求考生首先要讀懂已有信息，不僅要讀懂字面含義，還要厘清文章的脈絡和關系。續(xù)寫這篇短文時，考生需要明白故事的發(fā)展進程、前因后果、地理位置變化、人物情感等。在此基礎上，考生順著文章的思路，根據(jù)線索，發(fā)揮想象，對其后的情節(jié)進行合理預測，并用英語表達出來。同時，在組織語言時，切記使用5個以上給出的提示詞。

　　◆ 續(xù)寫分析

　　已知線索：去西部荒野——體驗農(nóng)場生活——騎馬去森林

　　(父親帶作者去“西部荒野”，喂雞牧羊，體驗農(nóng)場生活;見父親和叔叔騎馬很是瀟灑，作者心生向往，于是親身上馬體驗，和父親一同騎馬走向森林……)

　　可續(xù)寫線索：迷路?找到回農(nóng)場的方法?回到農(nóng)場?

　　1. 先進段所給首句“Suddenly a little rabbit jumped out in front of my horse.”這一句是故事發(fā)展的轉(zhuǎn)折點，可從兔子出現(xiàn)后帶來的結(jié)果入手擴展開去，可以寫馬受到驚嚇狂奔而去，也可以寫因追趕兔子而迷路，無論從何角度拓展，需注意與續(xù)寫第二段首句呼應。

　　2. 第二段所給首句“We had no idea where we were and it was getting dark.”這一句呼應前文Uncle Paul的囑托——不要誤了晚飯、不要迷路，可以從如何尋路返回入手去寫續(xù)文。前文提示農(nóng)場附近有河流，并且river為標有下劃線的關鍵詞語，所以可以從沿著河流回到農(nóng)場的角度拓展。
