What do you study at your school?

I study many subjects at my school. Maths, English, Chinese, Music, PE, Art, and so on.

Tell me about your day at school.

I get to school at around 8 am. And then I start my day studying different things. At noon we have a one-hour lunch break when we eat our lunch in the school cafeteria. School finishes at 3.30 pm.

What do you like about your school?

I really like the playground in our school. It’s not the biggest playground I’ve seen, but it’s a lot of fun to play there. I often go and play there with my classmates. We have so much fun at that place.

What’s your favorite subject?

My favorite subject is Maths. It’s difficult for most of my classmates, but not me! I can solve the most difficult Maths problem in our Maths book.

過去進(jìn)行時(shí)的使用規(guī)則

過去進(jìn)行時(shí)常用于：

1. 描述過去某一時(shí)間點(diǎn)或時(shí)間段正在發(fā)生的動(dòng)作/事

I was sitting in the cinema at nine o'clock last night.

My brother was eating his breakfast when I left home.

(“當(dāng)我離開家時(shí)”也是過去的某一時(shí)間點(diǎn))

2. 描述同時(shí)在過去發(fā)生的兩個(gè)事件

They were watching the film while I was doing my homework.

過去進(jìn)行時(shí)的使用結(jié)構(gòu)

一. 基本結(jié)構(gòu)

1. 過去進(jìn)行時(shí)由“主語+was/were + 動(dòng)詞ing”構(gòu)成

EX： We were having supper when the phone rang. 我們正在吃晚飯時(shí)電話響了。

2. 過去進(jìn)行時(shí)的否定式由“主語+was/were not +現(xiàn)在分詞”構(gòu)成

EX： This time yesterday Jack was not watching TV. He was repairing his bike.昨天這個(gè)時(shí)候，杰克不是在看電視，而是在修理自行車。

3. 過去進(jìn)行時(shí)的疑問式由“was/were +主語+ 現(xiàn)在分詞”組成

EX： Were you playing basketball at four yesterday afternoon? 昨天下午四點(diǎn)你們?cè)诖蚧@球嗎?

二. when和while引導(dǎo)的過去時(shí)間狀語從句

when表示當(dāng)...的時(shí)候，從句中既可以用延續(xù)性動(dòng)詞，又可以用非延續(xù)性動(dòng)詞，這些動(dòng)詞即可以表示動(dòng)作，又可以表示狀態(tài)。從句中的動(dòng)作既可和主句的動(dòng)作同時(shí)發(fā)生，也可以在主句的動(dòng)作之前或者之后發(fā)生。(從句動(dòng)作在主句動(dòng)作之前發(fā)生涉及過去完成時(shí)，我們后期再議!)

while表示在...的時(shí)候，在...期間，一邊...一邊... 。在while引導(dǎo)的時(shí)間狀語從句中，其謂語動(dòng)詞只能是延續(xù)性的，它強(qiáng)調(diào)的主語的動(dòng)作與從句的動(dòng)作同時(shí)發(fā)生或主句的動(dòng)作發(fā)生在從句的動(dòng)作過程中。

三.通常不能用于過去進(jìn)行時(shí)的動(dòng)詞主要有：agree,is,am,are,believe,belong,care,forget,hate,have(擁有)，hear,know,like,love,mean,mind,notice,own,remember,seem,suppose,understand,want,wish等。

例如：誤：I was knowing the answer.

正：I knew the answer.

我知道答案。

誤：I wasn‘t understanding him.

正：I didn‘t understand him.

我不明白他的意思。
