　　常用the的情況：


　　特指、重現(xiàn)用定冠;把冠添。


　　黨、政、機(jī)關(guān)開會(huì)議，組織農(nóng)業(yè)帽在前。


　　江山河海和峽灣;沙島有帽較安全。


　　階級(jí)國(guó)家分朝代;廠礦造船要帶銜。


　　節(jié)目奏樂(lè)衣冠嚴(yán)，習(xí)慣隨俗記心間。


　　注：冠、帽、銜之類均指定冠詞。


　　定冠詞的習(xí)慣用法：


　　①某家人或某夫婦一般用the+復(fù)數(shù)。如：the Smiths


　�、诒硎菊麄�(gè)民族或族人一般加the。如 the Chinese/English


　�、凵贁�(shù)山脈群島也不用the。如Mount Tai。如名詞中有of短語(yǔ)則一般有the.如：the Mountain of seven sighs.


　�、苤袊�(guó)的湖泊一般加 the。如：the West Lake.


　�、輙he+adj表示類別。如：the rich.


　�、弈甏挲g的約數(shù)前常用the。如：in the 1950s，in his teens.


　�、弑碛�(jì)量單位用the含有“每”、“每一”


　　It sells at two dollars the pound.


　　It sells 16 dollars to the pound.


　　John is paid by the hour.


　�、嘞铝薪Y(jié)構(gòu)中的冠詞。


　　-have+the+抽象名詞+to do sth = be so +adj+ as to do sth


　　如：He has the politeness/kindness to say hello to me.


　　=He is so polite/kind as to say hello to me.


　　不用冠詞的場(chǎng)合


　　抽象、物質(zhì)、專有名，代詞基數(shù)用作限定;


　　泛指節(jié)假季節(jié)星期幾，球棋、呼語(yǔ)與餐名;


　　刊物、公告與標(biāo)題，普通名詞并列緊相鄰;


　　職位，學(xué)科與語(yǔ)種，洲、國(guó)、省、市、縣街路名。


　　上述口訣用心牢記，并結(jié)合下列說(shuō)明予以理解


　�、俪橄�、物質(zhì)名詞和專有名詞一般無(wú)冠詞，但物質(zhì)名詞、抽象名詞具體化，或?qū)Ｓ忻~泛指時(shí)，常用不定冠詞，例：


　　a Mr Wang/a climb/a swim.


　　for a while/in a hurry/a fire Here is a life of struggle.


　　Physics is a science. There was a heavy rain last night.等抽象名詞受of短語(yǔ)修飾或上下文已予限定，用the.


　　如：the science of speech sounds 語(yǔ)音學(xué)


　　the music of the film， do me the favor to do sth.


　　②代數(shù)詞、基數(shù)詞作前置定詞，不用冠詞。


　　③泛指的節(jié)假日、季節(jié)、星期前不用冠詞。但是季節(jié)名詞表特定時(shí)間或受of知識(shí)修飾時(shí)用the.如：in the winter of 1948。


　　有時(shí)泛指時(shí)間用a+adj+名詞。如：have a hot summer.


　�、懿兔耙话銦o(wú)冠詞。但餐名受adj修飾時(shí)常常有a(an).特指時(shí)用the.


　　如：have a good supper. The breakfast was well cooked.


　　dinner表“宴會(huì)”時(shí)，是可數(shù)名詞，有各種冠詞修飾give a dinner to them.


　�、萜胀~并列時(shí)不用冠詞


　　soul and heart/husband and wife/day after day/arm in arm/hand in hand.


　�、拚Z(yǔ)種前不用冠詞。但the English結(jié)構(gòu)用the。


　　What\‘s the English for labour.


　　The English of shakespear.


　　作限定時(shí)用the.


　　⑦廣場(chǎng)、公園、學(xué)校、建筑物等專有名詞，由“專有名詞+普通名詞”構(gòu)成時(shí)不用冠詞。但the University of Beijing結(jié)構(gòu)和the Beijing station中用the.
