1 . at hand
在手邊，在近處。如：
He lives close at hand. 他就住在附近。

即將到來。如：

2 . by hand
用手工。如：
The letter was written by hand. 這封信是用手寫的。
My shoes were made by hand. 我的鞋是手工做的。
用專人。如：
Did the letter come by hand or through the post? 這封信是專人送來的還是郵寄來的?
3 . give [lend ] sb a hand 幫某人一把。如：
It’s really heavy--can you give [lend] me a hand? 這東西確實很重，能幫一下忙嗎?
4 . hand in hand
手拉手。如：
They walked down the street hand in hand. 他們手拉手沿街道走去。
同時并存。如：

7 . on the one hand 一方面。如：

8 . hands up 舉手，舉起手來。如：
Hands up, those who know the answer. 知道答案的請舉手。

注：有時也用其他表達(dá)。如：

9 . with one ’s hand 用手。如：
We work with our hands. 我們用手工作。

10 . hand sb sth / hand sth to sb 把某物遞給某人。如：
Hand me the key, please. 請把鑰匙遞給我。
He handed her a letter. 他交給她一封信。
Please hand me the dictionary. / Please hand the dictionary to me. 請把字典遞給我。
11 . hand in 交來，交上去。如：
Hand in your examination papers now, please. 現(xiàn)在請把考卷交上來。
Someone handed this parcel in this morning. 今天早上一個人把這個包交了上來。
12 . hand on 傳遞給另一個人。如：
Please read this notice and hand it on. 本通知看后請傳閱。
Please hand on the magazine to your friends. 請把這本雜志傳給你的朋友看。
13 . hand out 散發(fā)，分發(fā)。如：
The teacher handed out the examination papers. 老師分發(fā)試題。
Will you help me to hand out the leaflets at the meeting? 請你在會上幫我把這些傳單發(fā)給大家好嗎?
14 . hand over 移交，拿給。如：
He has handed over his business to his son. 他已把他的生意移交給他兒子。
The thief was handed over to the police. 這個小偷已經(jīng)送交派出所了。
15 . shake hands 握手。如：
They shook hands and entered the hall. 他們握了手然后就進(jìn)了大廳。
He shook hands warmly with me. 他同我熱情握手。
注：有時也說 shake one’s hand。如：
