　　高考英語詞語辨析:no longer,not...any longer&no more,not...any more

　　1.表示數(shù)量或程度，要用no more(后接名詞，more為形容詞，不接名詞，more為名詞)或not...any more。如：

　　There is no more bread.沒有面包了。

　　I have no more to say.我再沒有什么要說的了。

　　The boy doesn't want any more.這孩子不想再要了。

　　2.表示時間，no more通常用于句末，且一般與非延續(xù)性動詞連用。no longer通常放在句中(放在行為動詞之前或特殊動詞之后)，可用于延續(xù)性動詞和非延續(xù)性動詞，此時也可用not...any more或not...any longer。如：

　　We don't live here any more[longer]./We no longer live here.我們不住在這里了。

　　He knows that he is no longer young.他知道自己不再年輕。

　　我再也不去那里了。

　　正：I will go there no more.

　　正：I will no longer go there.

　　正：I won't go there any longer[any more].

　　注：在正式的文體中，no longer也可位于句首(句子用倒裝)或句末。如：

　　No longer does he love her./He loves her no longer.他再也不愛她了。
