  高二英語(yǔ)復(fù)習(xí)方法:新概念英語(yǔ)單詞記憶技巧

  一、相關(guān)詞記詞法

  英語(yǔ)中有一部分詞匯在拼寫(xiě)方面有相似處,而其意思也有一定的聯(lián)系,我們將這些詞匯稱為相關(guān)詞。了解了這些特點(diǎn),我們?cè)谟洃浽~匯和猜測(cè)詞匯時(shí)都會(huì)變得容易一些。例如:大家都熟悉positive(積極的),而如果我們?cè)陂喿x時(shí)遇到了詞匯negative,是否一定得查詞典呢?如果我們了解這種詞形相關(guān)、詞義相反的規(guī)律,我們完全可以猜出并記住此詞的意思是消極的。

  二、 樹(shù)根記詞法

  看到一個(gè)單詞,把它看成樹(shù)根,在找出與它想關(guān)聯(lián)的其它詞作為分支,如同義詞、反義詞、同類詞和同音詞等等。例如:我們?cè)谟洃沞normous表示“巨大的、大的”這個(gè)詞匯時(shí),可以同時(shí)將其他具有相同的語(yǔ)意的英語(yǔ)單詞結(jié)合起來(lái),記憶如:big,large,huge,great,grand,imme e,colo al,gigantic,titanic,terrific,prodigious,gargantuan,gro ,ma ive,mammoth等等。同時(shí)聯(lián)想記憶它的反義詞,如:little,small,tiny,minute,petit,microscopic等等。

  三、詞根詞綴記詞法

  分析英語(yǔ)構(gòu)詞對(duì)我們進(jìn)行英語(yǔ)單詞的記憶非常有幫助,準(zhǔn)確定義詞根和詞綴,可以幫助我們分析出每個(gè)新詞和生詞是怎樣產(chǎn)生的,其意義是如何演化出來(lái)的,這樣知其然又知其所以然地來(lái)記憶詞匯,當(dāng)然可以達(dá)到事半功倍的效果了。詞根詞綴記憶法口訣:前綴改變?cè)~義,后綴改變?cè)~性。例如:詞根“it”表示“go”的意思。怎么記?乍一看可能會(huì)抓狂,但只要想想“exit”就好辦了,出口的用處是讓人go out,即有“exit= go out”,而前綴“ex”=“out”,所以剩下的“it”=“go”;再看“visit”,參觀的意思是走一走,看一看,即有“visit = go & see”,而“vis = see”(我們知道vision是“視力”,visual是“視覺(jué)”),所以剩下的“it”還是“go”的意思。

  四、意義組合記詞法

  英語(yǔ)詞匯中有些字母組合既不是詞根,也不是詞綴,但是這些字母組合在一起也有一定的意義,在由其構(gòu)成的詞匯中具有一定的共性,因此,我們可以在英語(yǔ)詞匯記憶時(shí),有意識(shí)地總結(jié)歸納一些意義組合,并以此為依據(jù)來(lái)幫助自己掌握一些不太容易記憶的單詞,同時(shí)也可以為我們猜測(cè)某些詞匯的基本含義奠定基礎(chǔ)。例如:英語(yǔ)意義組合wr-的意思是“扭曲、擰、絞、歪扭”等。而以此意義組合開(kāi)始的單詞有:wrestle(角力,摔跤),wrangle(口角,爭(zhēng)吵),wrap(包,卷,纏繞),wreath(花環(huán),花冠),wreathe(遮蓋,覆蓋,環(huán)繞),wrench(猛扭,猛拉,突然的扭轉(zhuǎn)),wrest(奪取,扭奪),wriggle(蠕動(dòng),扭動(dòng),蜿蜒行進(jìn)),wring(擰,扭,絞出)等等。
